Mongu Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Oliver Amutike, spent this week inspecting Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects within his constituency.

Council Engineers Join Inspection

Accompanied by Mongu Municipal Council engineers, Mr. Amutike toured various construction sites to assess progress on the ongoing CDF-funded infrastructure projects.

Green Market Shelter Visit

The inspection began with a visit to the Green Market shelter, where construction is actively underway. The project is expected to provide traders with a more secure and hygienic environment.

Kapulanga (Liyoyelo) Market Progress

At Kapulanga Market, also known as Liyoyelo, significant groundwork has been done. Once completed, the market will improve trading conditions for local vendors.

Mukoko Secondary School Development

One of the highlights of the tour was Mukoko Secondary School, where a 1x3 classroom block has been completed and branded.

Furnished with New Desks

The newly constructed classroom block at Mukoko has also been fully furnished with desks purchased through the CDF, ensuring readiness for immediate use.

Kanyonyo Science Laboratory on Track

Construction works are also ongoing at Kanyonyo Science Laboratory. According to the engineers, the facility is steadily progressing and will boost science education in the area.
